To
ensure smooth and effective implementation of the project’s activities, Good
Neighbors Bangladesh (GNB) arranges monitoring time to time. This half yearly
monitoring (January 2013 to June 2013) is arranged among a total of 12 projects
within 17th to 22nd June 2013 among them Thakur-Dinaj CDP
has three sub project. This monitoring report reflects both analytical and
statistical states of the CDPs and FDPs. The entire monitoring system follows
methodological, planned and systematic ways following components based
questionnaires on the activities of the projects. It took place both in project
offices and filed level. In the project offices, each monitoring team
scrutinized the component based documents following the questionnaire, took individual interview
of the component related staff, verified and cross checked the documents,
checked all the relevant files and papers, wrote down the finding and finally
shared the findings with the project staff. In the field level, the monitors
checked the overall situation of the beneficiaries and the states of the
services they received. Besides, they interviewed with the beneficiaries and
their parents and observed how the services are fruitful and reachable.
On
the basis of the findings we have prepared this monitoring report in analytical
and statistical perspective. In analytical part, we bring forth the pros and
cons of the projects; component based weakness, strength and recommendations.
The performance of the projects is focused on the statistical part. Projects
are marked in accordance with their performance in this monitoring period. The
statistical part also includes component based project status. Then we showed
the overall monitoring reports in region based.
We
think the findings will bring out the gaps between objectives of the projects
and implementation. The purpose of this monitoring is not categorizing projects
good or bad rather it focuses on how we can implement projects more effectively
recovering the gaps. This report will help motivating the project manager and
other project staff to accelerate their respective responsibilities. This
report will also address the challenges and how it can be faced.
